Third Grade Writers!
For our Persuasive Writing Unit we will pick a topic we feel strongly about to research and write about.
Our writing will include:
1. A BIG BOLD opinion!
2. A lead that asks a question, explains why a topic matters or gives background information
3. Include reasons for our opinion and write in ways that get our audience thinking about our opinion and topic!
4. Address our audience in our writing!
5. Give evidence to support our examples (things like quotes)!
6. An ending where you include a call to action!
