Citing your sources means telling your reader where you found your facts and information.

It also means giving credit for any photographs or other images you use in your final project.

Citing Your Sources

Remember your citations need to provide enough information for your reader to be able to find the source that you used for your research.

Book Citations must contain:

  • Title
  • Author
  • Publisher
  • Place of Publication
  • Copyright

Online Resource citation must contain:

  • Title/Name of article or webpage
  • Author (if available)
  • Publisher/Name of website
  • Date Accessed
  • URL
