Project Driving Question:
Ticked Off!
In this project you will be asking a lot of questions and investigating what happens when a person is bit by a tick - and specifically a deer tick.
You will be interviewing the school nurse, outside experts and even a patient about tick borne diseases such as Lyme Disease.
You will investigate the ecosystem in Eastern Massachusetts to find out why Lyme Disease is so common and determine what steps the town of Wellesley can take to reduce the number of people who get infected every year.
You will present your suggested solutions to the Town Board of Health as well producing a website and a newspaper article for the Wellesley Townsman.
